Roberto Uribe III 

Hi! My name is Roberto Uribe and I am an aspiring educator and farmer. My passion for sustainable futures and the ecosystems of Southern California has lead me to the Sustainable Urban Agriculture Department at City College, where I am working hard to earn my degree! After many years of making music and art, I’ve decided to invest in my other passion, and work towards a career combining agriculture and teaching. California will need a new batch of high school teachers soon, and I believe that a foundation in environmental sciences and sustainability will make me a better teacher. I can’t tell you enough how appreciative I am to receive this financial help: know that it is going to a future educator who will take every opportunity he can to share a love for botany and ecology with his students.
