• We start our new year in September and will have monthly lectures between now and June. Our Garden Walk this year will be on May 8, 2027.

 Join us for a trip to another of San Diego's unique nurseries.  This independently family owned nursery has been operating since 1972.  Sitting on 1.5 acres in the middle of San Diego, it offers "organic herbs and vegetable plants, fruit trees, local succulents, pest deterrents, and bee-friendly plants"... showcasing the best plants for San Diego's climate.  Besides the wonderland of plants, don't forget to say hello to the animals and to plan a visit to Nate's Garden Grill Eatery before or after the tour.  2026 USA TODAY 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards No. 3: Best Plant Nursery:City Farmers Nursery
