“A Walk to Remember…Kate Sessions and her Legacy in Bankers’ Hill”

This year’s annual Garden Walk took on a rather historical flavor. Of course we had the usual outstanding landscape designs and unusual plants, but we also featured Kate Session’s influential work in the Bankers’ Hill area in the first half of the 20th century. Among other things, Miss Sessions introduced unknown drought tolerant plantings as well as species from other parts of the world to the San Diego community.
